Charlie was diagnosed with Holoprosencephaly (HPE). This means that she is unable to walk, talk, or sit up unsupported. With the help of her new GoTo seat, Charlie is now able to sit up and interact with her surroundings better than ever!
Charlie’s mother sent us a letter telling us how much Charlie is enjoying her gift!
“A HUGE thank you to My Gym Challenged America for Charlie’s GoTo 2 Seat! As you can see in the attached photos – she LOVES it! As she is such a tiny peanut, there will be lots of room for her to grow in it.
One of the photos shows her with biggest sister, Lily. They were playing dress up together. We were able to put the GoTo 2 Seat onto a tiny wheelchair that we got from the Goodwill. It now works for Charlize, who needs more support than the chair originally offered, and her siblings are having a great time speeding her through the house and including her in all their games. Charlie Maree is all giggles about the whole affair.
