Four-year-old Josie has two cancerous tumors in her spine that cause her to be paralyzed from the waist down. While she loves to play on the floor with her siblings, Josie hurts her hips as she scoots around, and the friction from carpeting causes open sores on her skin.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of My Gym Fresh Meadows, now Josie can scoot and play with ease. The members of My Gym Fresh Meadows came together and raised enough money to purchase a Firefly Scoot for Josie, and now she enjoys floor play and interacting with her siblings on a daily basis.
