Julian is 2 ½ years old and was recently diagnosed with a rare genetic mutation that causes Lesch-Nyhan Syndrome. While this syndrome poses many challenges, Julian is most affected by dystonia and mixed muscle tone, making it difficult to sit, stand, and walk independently. As a little boy full of laughter and joy, Julian wants nothing more than to participate in “typical” toddler activities such as playing with friends, taking trips out with family members, and sitting at the table and participating in activities with friends.
MGCA gave Julian a GoTo Seat by Firefly, and now he has the freedom to be independent and socialize with his peers. He experiences life from a new perspective and absolutely loves participating in daily activities with his family.
