Born at 26 weeks’ gestation, Lizbeth stayed in NICU for one and a half months. She has needed assistance overcoming delays in speech and language, socialization, and self-help skills, and still walks on her toes even after 18 months of occupational therapy.
The Sit ‘n Spin given to Lizbeth encourages her to stand with her feet flat and also reminds her how to stand, walk, run, and prevent falls.
Lizbeth was presented with her Sit ‘n Spin by MGCA founder, Randy Bertisch. To celebrate this event, she asked to dress in her favorite tutu.
