Little Nathanial suffered a traumatic brain injury, and now has intractable epilepsy, frequent falls, autism-like symptoms, a feeding disorder, and developmental delays. Without a helmet, Nathanial cannot do anything aside from stay in his bed, sit in a wheelchair, or be held. He has such frequent seizures (sometimes 30+ a day) and falls so frequently that he is very unsafe without a helmet, putting him at a high risk for another brain injury.
Thanks to your help, MGCA was able to purchase a new helmet for Nathanial, which he absolutely loves. He calls it his “Thomas Blue Helmet” and smiles from ear to ear when he is wearing it.
